Liberia Christian Association of the Blind

The Liberia Christian Association of the Blind is a national movement of blind and partially sighted persons working for dignity, opportunity, accessibility, education, livelihood and full participation in Liberia.

CAB’s mission is to inspire, empower and transform by strengthening the capacity of blind and partially sighted persons to live meaningful lives, contribute to society and claim their rightful place in national development. The organisation works across advocacy, education, rehabilitation, leadership, branch development, livelihood support, women and youth empowerment, and public awareness.

Through the CAB RISE Program, CAB is strengthening rights, inclusion, organisational systems, evidence-based advocacy, member empowerment and public understanding of blindness across targeted counties in Liberia.
